FIELD: heat barrier coats possessing elasticity adaptable for substrate deformation. ^ SUBSTANCE: ceramic layer, no less than 80 mcm thick is applied directly on precoat covering the substrate by one pass of thermal spraying with the aid of electric arc plasma torch. Distance of spraying is maintained between 20 mm and 90 mm. Rate of torch motion ranges from 2 mm/s to 10 mm/s. Flow rate of material ranges from 40 g/min to 100 g/min. Arc current intensity ranges from 500 A to 800 A. After cooling, two vertical cracks are obtained which cross entire ceramic layer. ^ EFFECT: enhanced resistance of heat barrier coat to peeling. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
