PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion generated at signal lines extending from the inner side of a sealant. SOLUTION: The signal lines supplying signals to respective pixel regions on the surface on the side of a liquid crystal of one substrate of substrates disposed opposite to each other via the liquid crystal are formed extending over the sealant for fixing the other substrate. The signal lines extending over the sealant are covered by a laminated body having a first insulating film, a semiconductor layer and a second insulating film, formed in order from the signal line side.
