PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a disk on which a signal is recorded in high density is driven at high-speed rotation, although it is necessary to mount the disk to a turntable surely while maintaining a rotational accuracy high, especially in the case where the turntable and the disk are relatively moved in the direction of rotation and the disk is shifted from the turntable, there is a fear of causing reading errors of the signal. SOLUTION: A clamper 20 which presses a disk D to a turntable 10 is constituted of a pressure holder 21 and a pressure ring 25 and the pressure holder 21 is attracted to a yoke member 17 by a magnet 30. A friction sheet 31 is attached between the holder 21 and the yoke member 17 as a rotation preventing means. Moreover, since rotation preventing means are also provided between the ring 25 and the holder 21, when the disk D is attached to the turntable, relative rotational movement is prevented with respect to the turntable 10 and the clamper 20.
