PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the liquid flow of a microchip, and to provide a control device therefor.

SOLUTION: The microchip is equipped with at least one first microflow channel for moving a substance, the second microflow channel crossing the first microflow channel and an air bubble forming mechanism, capable of forming air bubbles in the second microflow channel. The substance in the first microflow channel can be made to move into the second microflow channel by the generation of air bubbles in the second microflow channel.
