PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even small quantity of lot to be efficiently processed and to be milled / shipped on the same day in a rice cleaning system by which required volume of unpolished rice is taken out of an unpolished rice storage tank to perform blending / milling. SOLUTION: A shutter 3 is provided at each rice exhaust port of a plurality of unpolished rice storage tanks 1 and is connected with a rice conveying duct 5 of air conveyance. A first separator 6 is connected with the rice conveying duct 5 to separate rice from air and below a rice exhaust port thereof a weighing machine 4, a rice blender 10 and a rice cleaning machine 12 having a pool hopper 13 are provided in series in a vertical direction. The weighing machine 4, the rice blender 10 and the pool hopper 13 are respectively made to have small volume and further are arranged so that rice can successively move only by gravity. A rice conveying duct 9 connects the rice cleaning machine 12 with a second separator 16 and a switching valve 18 is provided at a rice exhaust port of the second separator 16, so that a feeding path 20 to a color sorting machine 21 and a returning path 19 to the pool hopper 13 can be selectively switched.
