<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of preventing the occurrence of a void phenomenon in images on a first surface and second surface of a transfer material undergoing a fixing process. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method has a step of transferring a toner image carried on an image carrier to a transfer material by using a transfer bias and a step of fixing the transferred image carried on the transfer material and is capable of executing the step of fixing the image transferred to the first surface of the transfer material, and then transferring the toner image from the image carrier onto the second surface of the transfer material, wherein the line speed ratio of the image carrier and the transfer material is changed according to environmental humidity during the image transfer to the second surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
