CATALYST AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst allowing sufficiently inexpensive manufacture and being capable of removing harmful gases well effectively over a wide temperature range.

SOLUTION: The catalyst is made by carrying iron oxide on a carrier containing a multiple oxide of cerium oxide-zirconium oxide, and the carrier has at least 0.1 mL/g of micro pores having a pore diameter of 3.5-150 nm.
