PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-of-flight type mass spectroscope having improved resolution without lowering detection sensitivity of a time-of-flight mass spectrometer, and a method of mass spectrometry. SOLUTION: Mass spectrum is collected by dividing an anode of a detector into plurality, and connecting signal recording parts to respective anodes individually, and a mass axis of the spectrum collected at respective recording parts are corrected individually, and afterwards, respective corrected spectra are added to form one spectrum.
