PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay wherein the life time of a main contact becomes long by reducing chattering time only by adding a simple work. SOLUTION: A moving contact 40 having a movable contact point 41 is held by an interlocking lever 31 rotating around a shaft pin 33 according to the movement of a plunger 27 of a polar electromagnet 20. A fulcrum projection 36A abutted on the moving contact 40 is provided in the interlocking lever 31. A contact pressure spring 34 energizing the moving contact 40 with the fulcrum projection 36A as a fulcrum for obtaining a spring load of the movable contact point 41 against the fixed contact point 51 is provided. The fulcrum projection 36A is provided with a plurality of fulcrums a, b changing a fulcrum position of the moving contact 41 in a direction that the spring load of the movable contact point 41 contacted with the fixed contact point 51 rapidly increases.
