PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a single seedling-transplanting tine to easily carry out a series of operations from the taking out of seedlings to the transplantation of the seedlings, and to improve operation efficiency. SOLUTION: The subject transplanter has the seedling-transplanting tines 16 for taking out the cell-shaped seedlings N stored in a seedling tray put on a seedling-carrying platform 14, and transplanting the taken out seedlings N, and the seedling carrying platform 14 arranged in the front direction of the seedling-transplanting tines 16 based on the traveling direction. Fulcrum parts 53 of the seedling-transplanting tines 16 are moved so as to draw nearly triangle loci K, and the tips of the seedling-transplanting tines 16 are swung by centering the fulcrum parts 53 so as to draw seedling-transplanting loci A. The transplanter is constituted so that the cell-shaped seedlings N may be taken out to the rear part of the seedling-carrying platform 14, and the taken out seedlings N may be transplanted on the field by being conveyed downward.
