The diameter of the top electrode is 0.3-0.6 of the diameter of the narrow part of the casing. The diameter of the narrow part of the casing is 0.3-0.7 of the distance between the electrodes. The area of the cross-section of the narrow part of the casing is 0.3-1.0 of the area of the cross-section of the relief opening. The lining of the casing is made of the refractory layer and outer heat-insulating layer.
