摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for a hybrid vehicle achieving engine start without increasing the capacity of a motor and causing a rise in rotation speed of the motor after the engine start. <P>SOLUTION: The drive device for the hybrid vehicle includes a planetary gear which consists of a first rotary element connected to at least an output shaft of the engine, a second rotary element connected to the motor, and a third rotary element connected to a fixed member via a first one-way clutch, and a second one-way clutch provided between two rotary elements of the first, the second, and the third rotary element and enabling to rotate the planetary gear as one piece. The planetary gear is functioned as a reduction gears with differential action at a time of engine start and the second one-way clutch is engaged to make the planetary gear rotate as one piece in a zone where at least the engine rotates at a predetermined speed or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
