<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and easy-to-use health care terminal capable of measuring a cardiograph and fingertip pulse wave simultaneously and also capable of measuring blood pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The health care terminal comprises a terminal body 10 having an internal space for housing measurement circuits for measuring a cardiograph and fingertip pulse wave. The terminal body 10 has an opening that communicate with the internal space, a cardiograph measuring electrode 12 (an external electrode) formed on an outer wall for contacting the palm of one hand of a user, a cardiograph measuring electrode 17 (a body electrode) provided on an inner wall forming the internal space for contacting the palm of the other hand of the user inserted through the opening, and a fingertip pulse wave measuring sensor section 21 arranged near the electrode 17 (the body electrode) for measuring fingertip pulse wave of the finger of the other hand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
