TOUCH PANEL CLEANING METHOD AND ITS PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel cleaning method for preventing the generation of any remnant or failure to wipe.

SOLUTION: This touch panel cleaning method includes a cleaning mode start process for making a picture display part display a first cleaning time picture in a cleaning picture storage part 4 for storing a plurality of cleaning time pictures to be displayed at the time of cleaning on the basis of a position coordinate signal to be input from a touch panel 2, a cleaning picture updating process for making the picture display part successively display a second cleaning time picture in the cleaning picture storage part 4 on the basis of the position coordinate signal to be input from the touch panel 2 and a cleaning mode ending process for ending display processing in the cleaning picture updating process on the basis of the position coordinate signal to be input from the touch panel 2 during the display of the picture in cleaning. Thus, new pictures are successively displayed from the touch place of a touch panel 2 in the cleaning mode, so that it is possible to recognize any untouched range, and to prevent the generation of any remnant or failure to wipe.
