PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method and an evaluation apparatus of liquid repellency in a liquid-repellent film for specifying the boundary position between a water-repellent area, formed partially inside a nozzle and a non-treated area. SOLUTION: Pores 1, in which the liquid-repellent film 8 is formed, from one end of the inner wall to a prescribed position, are erected in a liquid material 6 with the liquid-repellent film forming film side facing up, and the position of a liquid level 6a that has stopped, after rising in the pore 1 is measured, and the boundary position of the liquid-repellent film 8 is measured.
