<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal for a pump provided in an annular clearance between a fixed member and an action member and capable of ensuring set seal performance (leak amount) even if a material used in a seal main body part to which tensile force is given by a metallic spring provided in a channel in a seal lip part is resin such as PTFE. <P>SOLUTION: This seal for the pump is constituted in such a way that a collar 16 for fixation is provided on an inner peripheral face 18 side in at least either of channels 15 formed in the seal lip part 11 and a position L1 in the axial direction on an end face on a plunger side of the metallic spring 21 locked in an end face 17 of the collar 16 for fixation is positioned on an anti-sealing object side more than a position L2 in the axial direction of a tip part 13a of a second seal lip 13 formed in the seal lip part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
