PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure waterproofness inside a case in an insert molded object. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the insert molded object, the case 10 is insert-molded by inserting an inner part 30 which retains a busbar 20. The inner part 30 is equipped with a locking part 33 which is secured to a mold for molding the case 10 in such a state that the part 33 is hooked to the mold and is positioned/supported by the locking part 33 in the mold in such a state that the part 30 is suspended from the inner wall surface of the mold. The locking part 33 is formed protruding from the inner surface of the case 10 to the inside of the case 10.
