<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator abnormality detecting device, capable of more correctly measuring level difference when a car is landed. <P>SOLUTION: In this elevator abnormality detecting device, the level difference between a car floor and a landing floor 13 when the car 3 is landed is measured, and when a measured value is over a prescribed value, it is determined as abnormality to demand inspection and adjustment.
