PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide raising water capable of forming a good raising environment for a marine organism and capable of maintaining the good raising environment. SOLUTION: The subject production method for producing the raising water for raising the marine organism includes an electrolyzing process for forming electrolytically-formed water having bactericidal ability by using sea water which is raw water for the raising water, or a part of the raising water which is presently used in raising, as water to be electrolyzed and a bactericidal component-removing process for removing and treating a bactericidal component contained in the electrolytically-formed water formed in the electrolyzing process, wherein the electrolytically-formed water does not contain the bactericidal component, is approximately neutral, and has a water temperature of a prescribed temperature range of 5 to 30°C at a point of time when the bactericidal component-removing process is finished.
