The invention relates to agriculture machinery and can be used for cutting water-absorbing slots and for cultivating an under-humus soil layer therebetween. The inventive cultivator consists of two circular, a slot-cutters, a subcrust cutter and a common lantern drive thereof which are mounted on different shafts arranged in a parallel direction to each other and in a perpendicular direction with respect to the cultivator travel. The lantern gears and the drives thereof are arranged in the cavities of the cup-shaped of the disc slot cutters disposed symmetrically on both sides of the cutter. The inventive cultivator makes it possible to carry out, during the cultivator motion, a rotavation of two water absorbing slot of required sizes (cutting a new slot and dressing a preceding slot), to carry out a straight cultivation of the under-humus soil layer, stubble and a herb stratum on the surface thereof with a high stability, quality and reliability an to reduce the energy consumption.
