FIELD: measuring technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring volume flow rate by method of zero pressure drop at the positive-displacement flow meter made of a motor in one measurement section and measuring the differential pressure at the converging member in the other measurement section. The motor is connected to the circuit for maintaining the zero pressure drop that comprises engine connected with the output shaft of the motor, device for control of speed of rotation of the shaft, and meter of the speed of rotation of the shaft. The section provided with the converging member is located downstream of the section provided with the volume flow meter. The mass flow rate is determined with a computer by dividing the pressure drop by the volume flow rate. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
