<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording property-improving liquid capable of giving an excellent inkjet recording image, which gives a sufficient image density with an excellent letter quality while having high-speed fixability, performs high uniformity of a solid image, is bleed-less, and gives an image having good color reproducibility and high definition, when color inkjet recording is applied onto a regular paper sheet, in particular; and to provide an ink set and an image-forming method using the ink set. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set comprises the recording property-improving liquid which improves recording properties of an inkjet ink, and the inkjet ink which forms an image onto a recording medium by inkjet recording.
