PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody which specifically recognizes a TAT, has high affinity with the TAT and is useful for a TAT measurement in a clinical specimen, and a TAT measurement method therewith.

SOLUTION: The invention provides a monoclonal antibody specific to the thrombin-antithrombin III complex and the immunological measurement method of the thrombin-antithrombin III complex therewith. The monoclonal antibody of the present invention specifically recognizes the TAT and has high affinity with the TAT. Consequently, use of the monoclonal antibody allows a TAT concentration to be precisely measured without being affected by a cross-reacting material in the specimen, and is useful especially for diagnosis for tendency of blood clotting or the like.
