ROAD INFORMATION DISPLAY CONTROLLER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road information display controller which can perform the control so that the necessary information is easily recognized by a driver and which can improve handiness by reducing the working burden. SOLUTION: There are provided: a road information display controller 4 for storing map information to which a road sign or road guidance information is added and for displaying them on a display device 6 when these correspond to a prescribed range in front of a vehicle; a camera 3 for imaging the road sign or a road guidance board posted in front of the vehicle; image processors 11 and 12 for analyzing the posted contents of them, from the imaged image; a camera image display device 5 capable of displaying the image; and a comparison means 13 for comparing the road sign or the road guidance board analyzed by the image processors with the road sign or the road guidance information stored in the road information display controller 6 corresponding to the positions.
