PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail generating apparatus which automatically describes information relating to contents distributed in real time, in mail and transmits the mail without hindrance to viewing or browsing the contents. SOLUTION: In a mail generating apparatus 1a, an information generation part 12 acquires information related to a content distributed in real time, while receiving the content. A mail generation part 13 automatically describes information related to the acquired content, in a mail text, and the mail is transmitted from a mail transmission part 15 to a reception-side device.
