PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for wax patterns for a golf club head, especially a manufacturing method for the patterns, which makes the joining of the patterns easy and tight by applying thermal expansion and shrink to two pieces of wax patterns to increase a degree of freedom in assembling the wax patterns. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes the following steps: a step, where a 1st wax pattern and a 2nd wax pattern are manufactured and at least one fitting joint part is formed in the 1st wax pattern; a step, where a freedom degree in assembling the 1st and 2nd wax patterns is formed by using a difference in temperature; and a step, where the 1st and 2nd wax patterns are tightly joined by applying a temperature-lowering and shrinking treatment to the 1st wax pattern so that a head wax pattern is made up.
