PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet pile with cleaning function low in cost and high in reliability, capable of widely responding to cleaning of contamination substances eluting to underground water such as a volatile organic compound and a heavy metal and being used for cleaning of contaminated soil, and a cleaning method for contaminated soil. SOLUTION: In the steel sheet pile (1) with cleaning function, a groove shape steel (5) having a water permeation hole (4) is fixed to a steel sheet pile (1') having a web plate (2) provided with a water permeation hole (3) so as to cover the web plate (2) of the steel sheet pile (1'), and a space (7) for retaining a cleaning chemical (6) for water is provided between the web plate (2) and the groove shape steel (5).
