PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a levee forming machine to be connected to a tractor, with which levee leveling operation mechanism are separately arranged right and left and a problem that a separable clutch mechanism is arranged between transmission shafts, however, a bad condition occurs in fitting of a pawl when used many hours is solved. SOLUTION: This levee leveling machine has such constitution that a machine frame is connected to a tractor by a connection mechanism, the levee leveling operation mechanisms are separately arranged on both right and left sides of the machine frame in the traveling direction and a vertical elevation device is arranged so that one of the levee leveling operation machinism on both the right and left side parts is positioned at a levee leveling operation position relatively to the machine frame and the other is positioned at an upper retreating position. The machine frame is equipped with a hydraulic pump unit imputted from the tractor, the levee leveling operation mechanisms on both the right and left side parts are separately equipped with hydraulic motors, the hydraulic pump unit is piped to hydraulic motors through hydraulic valves and the drive of the right and left levee leveling operation mechanisms is changed. The conventional power contacting and separating pawl clutch is eliminated from this machine and the levee leveling operation machine has simple constitution and has improved maintenance.
