FIELD: geophysics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes registering low-frequency electromagnetic emission. When intensiveness of emission exceeds background level, position of earthquake center is estimated. When intensiveness of low-frequency emission exceeds background level, portions of ground surface are additionally scanned from onboard of spacecraft in x-ray spectrum range.
