PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical transmission module which can prevent a degradation of a light emission capability of a light emitting element by suppressing an increase of a temperature of the light emitting element, can curtail a production cost, and can take an impedance matching. SOLUTION: The optical transmission module has a light emitting element 2, a drive circuit 3 for driving the light emitting element 2, transmission lines 5, 7 which connect the light emitting element 2 with the drive circuit 3, and a terminal resistor 11 connected to the transmission line 7 for taking a terminal impedance matching.
