PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method and a structure having excellent moisture permeability and moisture absorbing/desorbing properties as well as preventing generation of dew condensation and fungi so as to obtain a comfortable habitable space, and furthermore, a more pleasant habitable environment can be provided without impairing an intrinsic moisture absorbing/desorbing properties of the moisture absorbing/desorbing building material. SOLUTION: The construction method of the moisture absorbing/desorbing building material is to laminate the moisture absorbing/desorbing building material over a base material having moisture permeability through an adhesive having moisture permeability in between.
