PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window pane seal for crime prevention capable of having the criminal preventive effectiveness at a low cost and preventing the scattering of broken pieces of glass in the case a window pane is broken and the occurrence of a fire caused by a gas burner as soon as possible. SOLUTION: The window pane seal for crime prevention is so constituted that a sealing member 5 is formed of a heat resisting surface sheet 4 sticking a separation sheet 2 on the back through an adhesive 3 and that an incision 6 is made in the sealing member 5 while penetrating the separation sheet 2 and the heat resisting surface sheet 4.
