PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming apparatus capable of being enhanced in the rate of operation to perform trimming work with high efficiency, and a trimming method using it. SOLUTION: Since a recovery table 311 is allowed to fall to a lower end position HO and a recovery table 321 is horizontally moved to a second stop position L2 from a retracted position L3 at an upper position H1 when the fifth molded product P is stacked on the recovery, the sixth molded product P can be stacked on the recovery table 321 even in a case that the six or more molded products P can not be stacked on the recovery table 311. Accordingly, the rate of operation of the trimming apparatus is enhanced by recovering the molded product P while continuing trimming operation to perform trimming work with high efficiency.
