PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger type liquid spray capable of being efficiently assembled. SOLUTION: The trigger type liquid spray is provided with: a body 1 provided with an one end open type cylindrical body for surrounding the outlet side of a passage 1a through which a liquid in a vessel is passed to define and form an inner space; an operation lever 2; and a pump mechanism 3 having a press head 3e connected to the operation lever 2 and for pressurizing and compressing the liquid in the vessel which is sucked through an opening end. The pump mechanism 3 also includes a plunger 3f for opening and closing a valve element (t) by difference in pressure per unit surface area between a first cylinder chambers 3b and a second cylinder chamber 3d based on difference in the cross-section between the cylinder chambers 3b and the cylinder chamber 3d. The plunger 3f is provided with an elastic supporting member 4 for pressing the plunger main body toward the inlet side end of a spray path of a spray nozzle (n) at all times, a pair of sliding parts 5a and 5b sliding respectively along the inside walls of the 1st cylinder chamber 3b and the 2nd cylinder chamber 3d and a passage 6 for sending the compressed liquid toward the valve element.
