<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiving device for performing stable modulation using a single A/D converter without requiring high-speed switching in an analog circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The device has an antenna 11 for receiving a modulation signal having a first phase axis component and a second phase axis component which orthogonally cross each other; converter 13 for converting the received modulation signal into a single baseband signal having only the first phase axis component; A/D converter 14 for converting the single baseband signal into a digital signal; holder 19 for holding a plurality of complex signal candidates, each having the first phase axis component and the second phase axis component which orthogonally cross each other; error detectors 20-23 for detecting an error between the complex signal point of the modulation signal, and the complex signal point candidate from a digital signal outputted from the A/D converter 14; selector 24 for selecting a complex signal point in which the error becomes the minimum from the complex signal point candidate; and demodulator 26 for demodulating the data of the selected complex signal point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
