<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in creating a monitoring screen of a monitoring system for displaying monitoring situations on the screen of a display device by using a communication network and to thereby reduce the development period of the monitoring system. <P>SOLUTION: In the monitoring system, screen descriptions downloaded to the display device from a monitoring device through the communication network are interpreted, a components program downloaded similarly communicate with the monitoring device to acquire a monitoring quantity, and screen display is performed. When the monitoring screen is directly displayed without using the monitoring device, it is judged that the components program has directly been activated, imitation data are generated, and the screen is displayed by using the imitation data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
