PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a problem from occurring that may occur when the insulation of the ultrasonic oscillator provided in the hand piece drops in the ultrasonic surgical system. SOLUTION: Prior to the ultrasonic surgery, a value of resistance between both edges of the ultrasonic oscillator 14 is detected by the insulating detection part 36. The control part 38 alarms user of a slight drop in the insulation of the ultrasonic oscillator 14, and allows the ultrasonic surgery to be performed only after obtaining confirmation from the user.
