FIELD: polishing devices. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making cotton round disks. The composition for making polishing round disk involves a binding agent aqueous solution wherein a mixture of aqueous emulsion of polymer prepared by emulsion polymerization of butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and acrylic acid amide with the content of basic substance from 15 to 50 mas. p. p. and water glass is used in the following ratio of components, mas. p. p.: copolymer of (meth)acrylic esters and amide of acrylic acid, 15-50; liquid sodium glass, 3-12, and water, 50-85. Invention provides enhancing the stability of polishing round disks and to reduce the cost in their making. Invention can be used in polishing table dishware and their components made of stainless steel, devices used in stomatology, jewelry articles, watches and so on. ^ EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of round disk. ^ 3 tbl, 3 ex
