PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector simplified in the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: When a resistance value change request means 30a1 requests a change of resistance value to a plurality of setting resistance values to a detection resistance part RL in an optional order, the measuring resistance part RL changes the resistance value to the setting resistance value. When a sensor output information generation means 30a2 generates sensor output information showing a sensor output outputted by a semiconductor type gas sensor 21 in response to the setting resistance value in association with the setting resistance value, the sensor output information is stored in a sensor output information storage means 40b. When a sensor output information extraction means 30a3 extracts, from the sensor output information stored in the sensor output information storage means 40b, sensor output information close to reference sensor output information of a reference sensor output information storage means 40a1, the resistance value change request means 30a1 requests the change to the setting resistance value associated with the sensor output to the detection resistance part RL, and the measuring resistance part RL changes the resistance value to this setting resistance value.
