PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the engine stall of an internal combustion engine caused by assembly mistakes of a piping, an electric connecting cable, and the like, related to an intake pressure sensor, in an assembling process. SOLUTION: After discrimination of the reference position per one rotation of the crankshaft 10 of the internal combustion engine 1 based on a crank angle signal by a crank angle sensor 25, correct connection or wrong connection is discriminated based on a crank angle signal position corresponding to each cylinder and transition conditions of intake pressures PMa, PMb detected by intake pressure sensors 22a, 22b. When correct connection is discriminated that there are no assembly mistakes of the piping, the electric connecting cable, and the like, related to the intake pressure sensors 22a, 22b, in the assembling process, the engine stall of the internal combustion engine is previously prevented by changing over from one fuel injection/ignition control per rotation of the crankshaft 10 to one fuel injection/ignition control per two rotation after finishing stroke discrimination based on intake pressures PMa, PMb.
