Temperature disuniformities and relatively long times for reaching a correct temperature, as well laboriousness of the operations to be carried out for forming and packaging lipsticks (S) or sticks of similar material, employing a plurality of single tubular forms (2) at least partially introduced in respective holes (3) of a casting plate (4) and sustained by a bottom plate (5) connected by tie-rods (6) underneath and parallel to the casting plate (4), are overcome or significantly reduced by employing a novel casting mold. The mold comprises an intermediate spacer plate (7) of a high heat conductivity, having holes through which the tubular bodies of said forms (2) pass, stably fastened over the bottom plate (5). The bottom portion of each of said tubular forms is received in a non-turnable manner into a receptacle (8) of said bottom plate (5) and sustained therein by a spring (9) disposed on the bottom of the receptacle (8). The tie-rods (6) are releasable and hingedly dropped sideway for allowing disengagement and lifting of the casting plate (4) together with an ancillary punch plate (10), the punches (11) of which bear on the end surface of the of formed and cold hardened sticks, keeping them inside their tubular forms (2) during disengagement and lifting of the casting plate (4) off the ends of the sticks that form inside the holes (3), beyond the rim of the tubular forms (2) partially introduced into the holes. |
