摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantitative analyzing method of selenium determinating selenium contained in a solid sample precisely and rapidly. SOLUTION: The quantitative determination method for selenium includes processes for: burning the sample in a pressure-resistant container, in which an absorbing liquid is injected, under an oxygen atmosphere having pressure high than atmospheric pressure; recovering the absorbing liquid and adding a peroxide to the absorbing liquid before pyrolyzing the absorbing liquid; allowing the pyrolized absorbing liquid to stand to cool; boiling a mixed solution, which is prepared by adding a reducing agent to the cooled absorbing liquid, to reduce the same; allowing the mixed solution reduced under boiling to stand to cool, a process for adding a masking agent to the mixed solution allowed to stand to cool, a process for removing impurities contained in the mixed solution to which the masking agent is added; and measuring selenium contained in the mixed solution from which impurities are removed.
