PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phthalocyanine composition having high sensitivity and low environmental dependency. SOLUTION: The phthalocyanine composition contains both of a phthalocyanine compound represented by general formula (1) and a phthalocyanine compound represented by general formula (2). In the formulas, M1is at least one arbitrary atom or atomic group bondable to phthalocyanine; M2is an atom on or after the second period of the periodic table or an atomic group having the atom on or after the second period, bondable to the phthalocyanine; M1and M2are different kinds; X1to X4are each independently a halogen atom; and a, b, c and d are each an integer of 0-4, and satisfy the relation of a+b+c+d≥1.
