PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens control system for preventing operation of a clutch from becoming unstable, by making the clutch automatic switching function invalid in a lens control system provided with the clutch automatic switching function for rotating an operation ring by motor operation, when motor operation is performed by being connected between a motor and the operation ring by a clutch like a drive unit of an ENG lens, and switching off the clutch to enable rotational operation of the operation ring by manual operation, when the motor operation is not performed. SOLUTION: The lens control system is provided with a servo on/off switch 30 for switching the operation of the operation ring servo (motor-driven) or manual in the drive unit 14 of the ENG lens 10, and a clutch automatic switching function for turning on/off switch 32 for switching the clutch automatic switching function valid or invalid, when the servo on/off switch 30 is turned on.
