PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent or a pharmacological prescription drug realizing new physiological functions by searching for and identifying a molecule targeted to DIF-1 ä1-(3,5-dichloro-2,6-dihydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)hexan-1-one} having a noteworthy pharmacological activity and its analog. SOLUTION: A PED1 äcalmodulin (CaM)-dependent cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase} inhibitor comprising at least any of compounds represented by formula (1) (wherein, Xs denote each a halogen atom or hydrogen atom; at least one of Xs denotes a halogen atom; R<SP>1</SP>denotes an alkyl group; and R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>denote each hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) as an active ingredient is provided.
