PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out correction such that positional deviations of a main ink droplet and a satellite ink droplet generated when they are deposited on a medium are the same even in the case where a distance from an ink ejection section to the medium is varied. SOLUTION: This liquid jet device comprises a liquid ejection section for ejecting a liquid to a medium, an ejection control section for controlling ejection of a liquid from a nozzle array in the liquid ejection section, and a carriage capable of moving in a predetermined direction together with the liquid ejection section.
