<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger-worn type data input device which is worn on a finger such as a ring and generates a virtual button wherever the finger is placed. <P>SOLUTION: The finger-worn type data input device is provided with a finger contact part to be worn on the finger and an external world contact part to be fixed to the object surface in the external world and determines data to be inputted based on relative positional relation of both or directions of pressure applied between both. The relative position of the finger contact part to the external world contact part is clearly grasped through a tactile sense by stimulating the tactile sense of the finger by pushing skin of the finger with projection and generating vibration and repulsive force when the relative position between the finger contact part and the external world contact part changes.
