<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film excellent in transparency, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, and curling prevention even when a thermoplastic resin film as thin as 100 μm or below is used as a support. <P>SOLUTION: In the hard coat film, the thermoplastic resin film (which is) of 100 μm or below in thickness is used as the support, on at least one side of the support, a hard coat layer is formed by using a coating composition which comprises metal oxide ultra-fine particles of 300 nm or below in a primary particle size, a urethane (meth)acrylate (A) having at least three (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule and a shrinkage rate after curing of below 10% as an ultraviolet curable resin, a polyfunctional acrylate (B) having at least three (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule, an organic solvent, and a photopolymerization initiator and in which the content of the metal oxide particles is 5.0-20.0 wt.% of the solid content during curing of the coating composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
