PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension support which can furthermore reduce its spring constant although it has a structure for hardly causing a knocking noise, and which does not need to change the position of the upper end of a coil spring. SOLUTION: An upper fitting 4 is provided with an upwardly widening tapered cylindrical portion 10. A lower fitting 5 is provided with a downwardly widening tapered cylindrical portion 12. An upper suspension support portion 21, which is composed of a first external cylindrical member 13, the upper fitting 4, and the upper half portion 9 of a rubber-like elastic substance 3, is formed separately from a lower suspension support portion 22 composed of a second external cylindrical member 14, the lower fitting 5, and the lower half portion 11 of a rubber-like elastic substance 3. In addition, the bottom wall 7 of the upper fitting 4 is fixed with the bottom wall 8 of the lower member 5. As a result, the upper suspension support portion 21 is integrally connected with the lower suspension support portion 22, and a space S is formed between the upper half portion 9 and the lower half portion 11 of the rubber-like elastic substance 3.
