<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce an acoustic signal so that the right and left sides of an image are matched with the right and left sides of a sound image by means of two speakers. <P>SOLUTION: In the present invention, if the lateral positional relationship between an image to be displayed on a display section and an acoustic signal to be outputted by a stereo speaker becomes mismatched, the sound image of the acoustic signal is localized to match the lateral positions of the image to be displayed and those of the acoustic signal, thereby matching the right and left sides of the image and those of the sound image using two speakers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
